...is nestled in the rolling hills of Central Ohio. We have approximately 6000 trees growing on 38 acres of beautiful countryside. Recently, we planted 700 cherry trees of six different varieties, which should start producing in 2009. If you're curious about how we plant new trees, visit our new orchard page where you'll find educational photos. You can also stop by our produce pages for more information about our Apples, Peaches or Pears.

Our orchard produces 60 different varieties of apples, peaches and pears along with blazing pumpkins.

Our peach orchards are on a clay soil which has good moisture holding capacity. Trees are trained to an open vase also called open center. This lets sunlight into the tree so it can produce sweet, aromatic, and juicy fruit. When the fruitlets are the size of golf balls, they are thinned out, leaving the remaining peaches 6 to 8 inches apart. This allows the fruit to grow larger. Two to three weeks before harvest, water sprouts are pruned out for a final dose of sunlight. At harvest, we spot pick just the ripe ones and sell them the same day. They are never put into cold storage. Our growing season for apples lasts from early summer to late fall.
