Apples
3 C sugar
2 T cinnamon (heaping)
1 t allspice


  • Peal, core and chop as many apples as to overfill your crockpot.
  • Fill crockpot 1/2 full.
  • Add sugar, cinnamon and allspice
  • Fill crockpot to overfull with rest of chopped apples.
  • Cover and cook until a spoonful on a saucer doesn't leave a ring of liquid.
  • Stir Occasionally with a wire whisk.
  • Can in sterilized jars and seal.
  • Makes 5 pints.
