Show off your baking skills by entering the first annual Branstool Orchards Apple Pie Baking Contest!

• Turn in two pies, made completely from scratch, to the market in Utica between 8am & 6pm on Friday, November 2nd.

• Each pie must be in an unmarked disposable pie tin & include a typed or hand-written recipe.

• Only amateur bakers may enter the contest.

• All pies must include apples as the main ingredient.

• Pies will be judged on a scale of 1-10 on (A) Appearance (B) Flavor (C) Texture

• Winners agree to allow Branstool Orchards to publish their recipes and photos of their pies on their website and social media outlets.

• Entries require name, phone number, email, and recipe.

• All pies will be judged on Friday night by our panel of judges and winners announced on Saturday. All pies will be sold by the slice at the market on Saturday and proceeds donated to the local food bank.

  • Third Place Winner = $15
