August Kid Craft Time
Join Mrs. McCutcheon in the new Flex Space for guided crafts for kids of all ages. Craft time will start at 10am on the second Wednesday of June through September.
No supplies are needed.
After crafting, each child will receive a donut and a cup of sparkling apple cider. The play area is open and free for fun after crafting.
Fee is $12 per child. Registration is required. Go here to register.
Melon Mania
Join us to celebrate all things MELONS on Saturday and Sunday, August 15 & 16 from 10am-3pm. Sample various types of watermelon on the porch, get a watermelon soft serve ice cream cone or watermelon slushy at the Donut Hut, try the watermelon salad or melon a stick at Happy Apple Eatery.
Apple and flower picking will be open 10-4 and the market 10-5. Free playground and chicken and goat viewing open 10-5. Come spend an afternoon celebrating MELONS with us on the farm!
Apple Painting Class with Charcuterie
Join us on the evening of August 27 for a guided apple orchard painting class. The 11×17 canvas and all suppliers are provided and no experience is needed. Apple themed charcuterie and drinks for before and during the class is also provided. The space is intimate and air conditioned! Spots are limited. Farm Animal Day at Branstool Orchards
Join us on the playground to visit with gentle animals from For Them Farms in Granville, Ohio. Expect goats, mini horses, a pig, and mini donkey. Our own three goats and chickens will be there, too!
Democratic Fundraiser and Fellowship
Join us for an evening discussing the future of Ohio when we host statewide Democratic candidates on the farm. We know this may be polarizing as we don’t normally talk politics but we are worried about people, education, and the environment so we are doing our little part to help elect new leadership and fresh voices. Applepalooza Apple Celebration
Join us on the one day a year where we cut samples of all ripe apple varieties for you to sample and compare! Not all of our varieties will be ripe by then but many will be! Apple bobbin, apple crafts, apple eating contest, apple cider samples, and so much more! Apple picking will be available and cider donuts, ice cream, cobbler parfaits, smash burgers, fresh cut fries, and a variety of foods at the Happy Apple Eatery! Stay tuned for more details!
Taste of Branstool Orchards
Join us when we sample all of our jarred goods including peach salsas, apple salsas, butters, pickles, salad dressings, jams, jellies, ciders, etc. More than 50 items to taste! Come hungry!
Peach Party
Join us for an annual peach celebration! We will have a bar with peach mimosas and cocktails. The Donut Hut will have peach cobbler parfaits, peach sundaes, peach soft serve cones, peach slushies, and more. Grilled peaches, peach salads, and peach smash burgers at Happy Apple Eatery. Sample ripe peaches and peach salsas. Photo ops.
Christmas in July
The Utica Merchants Association is sponsoring a community wide event, Christmas in July, on Saturday, July 25. We will be participating with fun Christmas ornaments, cards, etc. Frasier fir baby Christmas trees will be for sale and every customer who spends $50 can get a free tree to take home to plant! Mrs. Claus will be here greeting folks and painting faces. Summer Santa will be walking around for photos and to discuss if you’re being naughty or nice. Snowman sundaes at the Donut Hut 10-4 and letter writing to Santa all day. Enter a free raffle for a $25 gift card or a peck of peaches. Many other Utica businesses will also have specials.

Join us from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday, June 13 & 14, to sample more than 40 Branstool Orchards jarred goods. Try our new garden fresh peach salsa that includes tomatoes unlike our normal peach salsa which does not. Lots of salsas, jams, butters, pickles, sugar free jams, sauces, dressings, etc. So much to try and explore!

CANCELLED DUE TO EXTREME HEAT: Independence Party
CANCELLED! SO SORRY! Due to excessive heat, we will not be open on the evening of July 1. We have to keep our staff safe so we are making the hard decision to not host this event this year. Due to extreme heat, we do not feel safe opening the Donut Hut or Eatery. Our market staff was going to do a 13 hour day but we feel that's too much with temps over 90 degrees so we will close the market at our normal 5pm on Wednesday. We hope we are not spoiling anyone's plans. We hate to let people down! If you still need a place to park to watch the fireworks, you are welcome to come park in our front lot. Thanks for your understanding. Stay safe! Stay hydrated!
We're opening up the farm in the evening for the first time ever to celebrate America's Independence! You can see most of Utica's firework display from our parking lot and we will have our market, the Donut Hut, and Happy Apple Eatery open! Yard games, bubble stations, and free 3-D glasses for the fireworks.
Prizes for best USA attire. Red, white, and blue sprinkle cones and waffle nachos at the Hut. Smash burgers and more at the Eatery.
Free play area and Free fishing on our pond - no license needed but please bring your own pole and bait.
Come hang out and celebrate our country with us on Wednesday, July 1st from 5pm until fireworks end.
4th Annual Pickle Fest
Join us on the farm when we celebrate all things pickled for the 4th year in a row! Event is free to attend but an online $20 Pickle Tasting Ticket is required to visit the new and improved pickle sampling tents where you can sample more than 50 pickled foods! The Crazy Cucumber will be here selling their amazing pickles and they are bringing their deep fried pickle chip truck, The Crispy Cucumber. The bar will feature pickle margs and pickle martinis plus more briny drinks! The pickle gift shop will be stocked for all your pickle loving merch! BUY TASTING TICKETS HERE.
Painting Party w Charcuterie
Join us for a painting party in the new flex space by the market. It’s heated and has AC so let’s put it to a creative use! No experience needed. No supplies needed. Mrs. McCutcheon will lead you step by step. June's 11x17 painting will be a strawberry still life.
Charcuterie and sparkling apple cider will be provided. Class is approximately 2 hours long.
