The Village Book Peddler is a mobile bookstore offering a curated collection of high-quality secondhand books for kids and adults. Come meet Betty the Book Truck, and browse the collection of popular fiction, non-fiction, picture books and children’s novels.

Join us on the evening of August 27 for a guided apple orchard painting class. The 11×17 canvas and all suppliers are provided and no experience is needed. Apple themed charcuterie and drinks for before and during the class is also provided. The space is intimate and air conditioned! Spots are limited. The Utica Merchants Association is sponsoring a community wide event, Christmas in July, on Saturday, July 25. We will be participating with fun Christmas ornaments, cards, etc. Frasier fir baby Christmas trees will be for sale and every customer who spends $50 can get a free tree to take home to plant! Mrs. Claus will be here greeting folks and painting faces. Summer Santa will be walking around for photos and to discuss if you’re being naughty or nice. Snowman sundaes at the Donut Hut 10-4 and letter writing to Santa all day. Enter a free raffle for a $25 gift card or a peck of peaches. Many other Utica businesses will also have specials.

CANCELLED! SO SORRY! Due to excessive heat, we will not be open on the evening of July 1. We have to keep our staff safe so we are making the hard decision to not host this event this year. Due to extreme heat, we do not feel safe opening the Donut Hut or Eatery. Our market staff was going to do a 13 hour day but we feel that's too much with temps over 90 degrees so we will close the market at our normal 5pm on Wednesday. We hope we are not spoiling anyone's plans. We hate to let people down! If you still need a place to park to watch the fireworks, you are welcome to come park in our front lot. We're opening up the farm in the evening for the first time ever to celebrate America's Independence! You can see most of Utica's firework display from our parking lot and we will have our market, the Donut Hut, and Happy Apple Eatery open! Yard games, bubble stations, and free 3-D glasses for the fireworks.

Prizes for best USA attire. Red, white, and blue sprinkle cones and waffle nachos at the Hut. Smash burgers and more at the Eatery.

Free play area and Free fishing on our pond - no license needed but please bring your own pole and bait.

Event is free to attend but an online $20 Pickle Tasting Ticket is required to visit the new and improved pickle sampling tents where you can sample more than 50 pickled foods! The Crazy Cucumber will be here selling their amazing pickles and they are bringing their deep fried pickle chip truck, The Crispy Cucumber.
